Field Notes

Description:

Taller shrub with many stems, simple elliptical leaves. White, urn-shaped flowers.

Habitat:

Sears Bellows County Park, New York. Sandy soil, oak and pine woodlands.

Notes:

I am pretty sure of the ID but not 100%. Highbush Blueberries are the plants used to create cultivated blueberries. They produce edible fruit that are an important food source for many wildlife species.
