a type of fulgorid bug I think, about 3/4 in

Habitat:

tropical rainforest, amazon

Notes:

I was on the trail hiking to Hornoyaco Falls when this came out of nowhere and landed on me for a few seconds. Love it when stuff like that happens!

I always see leafhoppers, but they are always the same species.
Really? What happened, you haven't seen one for a while? I'm sure you'll find more of them.
I guess my luck ran out in finding leafhoppers, dan.
