Field Notes

Description:

The nest is a neat cup shape lined in grass. The nests are always situated at the fork of two branches in a bush, and normally 2-3 feet off the ground.

Habitat:

In a bush in a small ravine

Notes:

This first day I found the nest momma wasn't present, but she was the next few times. Those spottings are coming soon :)

Thanks Tom, I can't wait for the baby to come! I'm home relaxing this week, but I am going back to my study site next week and the baby should be hatched by then. I read there is supposed to be 3-5 eggs, so I hope this baby makes it since there is just the one egg left. I bet it will be pretty adorable :)
