Description:

Not sure of the subspecies, but this damselfly landed on my knee while I was taking pictures of a group of damselflies mating nearby.

You're welcome. I am not sure, odonata eye color varies.
Thanks for the ID, Fyn. Are blue eyes an indicator of male gender in this species? I was starting to assume that, since all of the breeding pairs I've seen have contained an individual with much bluer eyes than it's mate.
This specimen is a male. Nice spotting!
