Description:

Common Brown butterfly. Male.

Habitat:

Mixed dry sclerophyll and native grasses.

Notes:

The males are particularly fond of the flowers of the Prickly box (Busaria spinosa) and time their metamorphosis so that they emerge when the plants begin to flower.
