Field Notes

Description:

Banded Moth with beautiful underwings, 3.5 cm long. It had it's proboscis extended forwards. It was later retracted. Family Erebidae (Noctuidae).

Habitat:

Came to the parking lights of a shopping mall, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
