Description:

因幼苗像是一枝懸掛的筆，而得名。單葉對生，後革質，葉面光亮油綠，葉長7到15公分，業率反卷。腋生聚織花序。花瓣白色，五枚，萼片五裂，宿存。果實會在母樹上長成胎生苗，成熟掉落，隨潮汐散播。

紅樹林

Notes:

靠婐露於地面板根狀的呼吸根，據海綿狀組織，幫助吸收氧氣及過濾掉大部分的鹽分，何將鹽貯存在荖葉脫落排掉。
