In Australia we call them slaters (the non-rollup type)
This one does not roll up. It is a Sowbug. I am wondering if it is also called a wood lice?
Though they are similar in appearance, I actually think this is a Sowbug. Sowbugs have a flatter body that ends with a two-pointed segment (which you can see in this picture). They can't roll themselves up but they do live in similar places as Pillbugs.
