bright blue fruit, tube shaped, slender, very small hairy yellow flowers, large red bracts
Habitat:
tropical rainforest
Notes:
Nothing too hot about these lips anymore! The bracts are in a bit of rough shape. I spotted this in a lot of places but took the photos along the trail to Hornoyaco Falls. A Hotlips spotting by Andreas Kay was recently SOTD and he had great pictures of the bracts and flowers, but none of the fruit so I thought I would show what the fruit looks like.
