Description:

White soft petal. Funnel shaped. Wider to the top and narrower to the bottom. A yellow colored long pollen stand in the center. long, green, soft stem.

Habitat:

Saw it in a pot.

Hi Pampa, This belongs to the Araceae family which includes plants like Taro and it is not an Orchid. Because plants like these are grown for ornamental value, they sometimes have various species names. I hope I've given you the correct one (aethiopica). . Sikkim must have some great wild life (plants and insects) - we look forward to seeing some !. thanks for your great notes.
