they are similar, but it's not M. melolontha, this one has greenish and purple neck..
Thanks injica, but it has totally different color but must be from that family.
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Melolontha.melolontha.-.lindsey.jpg is this similar, usually they have bigger antennas....but maybe it is because of the photo that they are not so visible...
I like the depth of field to it! I'm assuming its macro?
