Field Notes

Description:

Juveniles and females are black with yellow stripes and a blue tail, and adult males are tan with a red head.

Habitat:

Found under logs in a pine forest.

If you read my description I bet you can answer that for yourself :)
So, do these change color as they age? We always find the blue-tails in our kitchen over the summer when it gets too hot outside. They seem to partner well with the Anoles.
Sweet! These guys are so cool. I'll never forget spotting them for the first time last year.
Yea I think so, we ended up catching a lot of skinks and many of them had ticks on them. But then again so did we ;)
