Description:

Tiny planthopper nymph. I'm unsure what the rope-like structure it was exploring is - frass maybe? If it is I'm assuming it was from a larger organism. Any ideas anyone?

Habitat:

Radnor Lake

It's just a guess. Maybe the color of poop depends on the species: http://travelfreakindia.blogspot.com.br/2011/09/borivali-national-park.html
Maybe, but the snail frass images I could find online (& they do exist!) don't look anything like this.
