Description:

Non-breeding male. Summers for this area<br>
Breeding males will have more red in the face and a deeper yellow. Females lack the red in the face and is grey on the back and the yellow is paler. The non-breeding male not as bright yellow and the red face is either is only tinted or absent. The black is duller. Back is a greenish-yellow.
The feed on insects and fruit.

Habitat:

This was spotted by a nectar garden in an open woodland area of mixed trees.
