Description:

It is the only member of the genus Gymnomuraena, though it sometimes has been included in Echidna instead.

Habitat:

Shallow reef, 10m at Barra Inhambane Mozambique

Notes:

Thank you Gerardo..I was not sure whether it is a Zebra moray or a Banded moray...but the Wikipedia and Fish Base refences are convincing!
