Description:

This spotting is a PJM Rhododendron hybrid named after Peter J. Mezitt, founder of Western Nurseries in Massachusetts. The plant is 4' to 6' tall, but can grow to 10' with a width about two-thirds the height. It is a small-leaved rhododendron. It is probably the most adaptable and easiest rhododendron to grow. Has pretty early spring blooms.

Habitat:

This pretty rhododendron was spotted in the gardens at the Cylburn Arboretum in Baltimore, Maryland.
