Field Notes

Description:

Medium sized beetle. Elongated body. Black head, antennae, legs and elytrae. Orange protonum with two black spots.

Habitat:

Suburban backyard garden. Raspberry plants.

Notes:

I was really excited to find this cool looking beetle, then I realized it was probably one of the reasons my Raspberries haven't been doing well! That's ok. I still think the beetle is cool!
