Description:

Rather large Leafhopper as they go. This one was about 7 mm long and was brown with creme colored diamongs down the back of the wings. Suspect this is T. latipex.

Habitat:

This hopper was on Cape honeysuckle in the backyard.

Of course you can know :) No secrets here. This one was larger than most and I used a 100mm macro lens. This hopper was very cooperative which helps a lot! I was able to get nearly 10 shots total before it jumped.
How did you get so much detail on your picture? what camera are you using (If I can know)?
