This little one was around the size of my thumbnail, I watched him spear this fly and pose while enjoying his freshly caught dinner.

Ah no egg case around, was very tiny, barely spotted him/her!

Cool shot! There are a couple of species of Mantid found in your area. It can be difficult to ID them as nymphs. Did you happen to find an egg case around (usually a good way to tell)?
