Field Notes

Description:

This female was mostly white, with a lateral red stripe on the abdomen.

Habitat:

Well camouflaged on oxeye daisy. Habitat in vicinity is a mosaic of fields and variously-aged stands of Douglas-fir.

Notes:

This species also can be yellow.
