Field Notes

Description:

Tiny song bird with a gray back and tail. Pale colored breast, black chin, black cap.

Habitat:

Woodlands,trees, bushes.

Notes:

This is a very tiny and fast bird. It moves the leaves on trees as it travels through the branches stopping to eat insects from under the dried and semi curled dying leaves still attached to branches. I watched closely following the moving leaves until I could spot the tiny Chickadee.
