Description:

The tree is located in the Nariva swamp area

Habitat:

Grows in tropical to sub-tropical gardens

Notes:

The Cannonball tree can grow to a height of between 50 to 80 feet. The fruit as shown is edible but the The scent of the white flesh is discouraging for most people. The fruit measures between 15 -24 centimetres.
