Field Notes

Description:

Powder blue abdomen and large green eyes. Wings are clear with small brown stigmata. The eyes remind me of the eastern pondhawk dragonflies that I have photographed before. The colors of the thorax and abdomen of these dragonflies vary greatly.

Habitat:

In the woods near a cypress swamp
