Field Notes

Description:

Medium-sized Godwit, grayish-brown upperparts, coverts with pale fringes, white underparts and rump in winter plumage.
Short upturned bill, yellowish at the base, black at the tip. White supercilium
Black legs.

Habitat:

Spotted at the former mouth of Senegal river in Atlantic ocean.
Palearctic migrant along the coasts of Africa.
