Description:

Also known as Tiger Moth. Black and orange marked moths suspended in spider's web of the Orb Weaver species. Approx.30mm wingspan, hairy thorax.

Habitat:

Found throughout Australia, varying in patterning and shading. These moths in garden environment adjacent to dry Eucalypt woodland in north east NSW suspended in spider's web.

Notes:

The night harvest. There were at least 6 same species moths captured in this one web.
