Field Notes

Description:

Orange and grey/blue ladybug larva next to a fossil.

Habitat:

Small clearing with stream, mixed deciduous forest with bamboo and banana. Doi Suthep is mostly granite and is part of the Thanon Thong Chai Range, Northern Thailand.

Notes:

I was really happy to capture this ladybug larva, when I was looking at the image I noticed a small fossil in one of the images.

Hi ChunXingWong, thank you, it was only when I got home I saw this. It's now the end of the dry season so the water level is low, I hope to get back there soon before the rains come to see what else is there.
