Description:

צמח עשבוני רב שנתי ממשפחת החלמתיים. מצוי באזורים בהם יש לפחות 400 מ"ל גשם בשנה. מצוי באיזורים: הגליל, הכרמל, יהודה ושומרון, בקעת ים המלח, שרון. צמח שעיר .
וזיפני המתנשא לגובה 1-2 מטר. גבעול שאינו מסתעף. פריחה בין החודשים אפריל- יוני. פרחים גדולים וורודים.

Habitat:

בתה טרשית

Notes:

נוזל הצמח משמש לריפוי כוויות, פצעים שיעול ודלקות.
ניתן לאכול את ניצני הפרחים ואת עלים.
