Description:

Dark, wood patterned moth with clean white underwear. 1.5 cm long. Family Noctuidae.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.

Yours does look very similar! Not too likely to be the same species but definitely they are both dark alley Noctuids. :)
