Description:

Small turtle that is mostly black with yellow stripes on the face.

Habitat:

Caught in a swamp with lots of bald cypress.

Thanks Neil! Fyn, if you ever had one in your hand you would understand the name. They are very stinky! Their other name is common musk turtle, but I think stinkpot is more suiting :)
I have never understood the name...
Excellent. Great spotting of this little fellow. Very odd name.
