Description:

This Sphinx was large, at 7 cm in length. Light colored with 2 thin black lines on the thorax. The underwings were a deep burnt orange color. Family Sphingidae.

Habitat:

Came to the parking lights of a shopping mall on the outskirts of San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
