A brown octopus with a small bright blue ring on it.

Habitat:

On the coast of Dana Point, CA. It hides in holes under rocks.

It wasn't the Blue-Ringed Octopus. I was sure of that. It only had one small blue ring.
I don't know if you can find Blue-ringed octopus in your place. The blue-ringed octopuses are three octopus species that live in tide pools and coral reefs in the Pacific and Indian Oceans, from Japan to Australia. They are recognized as some of the world's most venomous marine animals.
