Description:

This is an orb weaver. They make a stabilimentum (web decoration) in the center of their circular web. They have distinctive yellow and black markings on their abdomens and a mostly white cephalothorax.

Habitat:

This small (1 in or 2.5 cm) spider has made a web on the Wooly Pipevine.
