Description:

Geometer moth with bright orange hindwings. Forewings are gray/brown, with nearly straight lines and black spot at midpoint of ST line. 18mm

Habitat:

Heavily forested area with a creek nearby

Notes:

This little one was flying along the trail when he landed on my arm and then hands and wanted to stay as he began to attempt to probe for sodium.
