Description:

This bird was small in size and buried deep inside a low-level shrub. It is all black but the tip of its beak are orange.

Once heard, you will never forget this extraordinary voice! I was always thinking of a dropping faucet...
Also I reviewed my album and found more photos. Unfortunately they are slightly blurry, but I agree with your suggestion!
Perhaps it was juvenile because it was a relatively small bird. I agree that your suggestion makes most sense. I recall our guide saying it had a distinctive call and the Montezuma Oropendola sounds like what she described. Are you sure you saw this as a "small" bird? Or was is a juvenile? It is quite large. The tail is obviously yellow. There is only one candidate for such kind of bird: Psaroclius montezuma. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montezuma_Oropendola
