Description:

Very large white pelican. Black flight feathers contrast with white coverts. Bill pouch is yellow. Breeding adult has pink-tinged underparts, bare pink-orange face and short crest.

Habitat:

Open waters: lakes, estuaries and sheltered bays. Fish in groups.
