Description:
Adult female marbled salamander. This species is sexually dimorphic for color, which means that you can tell males and females apart based on their coloration. Females have grayish markings and usually the pattern has smaller blotches. Males have bright white patterns. Found underneath a log at Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary.
