small brown beetle, that when disturbed bends at the junction of thorax and abdomen and uses the spring from straightening out to "jump" making a loud click

I have been fascinated with these since I was a young girl. This one was already to "click" when I found it. It was the second one I'd found in two days, but the first clicked away before I could get a photo
