Wildlife Spotting

Found it on the side of the mountain on the Nu'uanu Pali Lookout. It was on the side of a steep cliff where it is extremely windy. We noticed it grew on the parts where the wind was blowing and not where the wind would not touch. It was almost a rust color so we actually thought it was rust on the mountain at first. We did this is as part as a of a project for Kapi'olani Community College's STEM Summer Bridge.
