Description:

One of the most beautiful moths in my area!

Notes:

Halysidota tessellaris and H. harrisii are indistinguishable from each other as adults. I've never seen a caterpillar of H. harrisii, so this is most likely H. tessellaris. The second photo is not oversaturated, it was literally that shade of yellow-orange! One month left until National Moth Week!
