Field Notes

Description:

Order: Asterales > Family: Campanulaceae. This stunning specimen was found right at the rivers edge with a single stalk. I knew Cardinal Flower liked its feet wet but not as close as I found it. This species is wide-ranging as it can be found from Canada to Colombia.
