Description:
This black dragonfly with dark red eyes perched on some dead branches over the water of an inland canal. It is a Pin-tailed Pondhawk male.
Habitat:
Near an inland fresh water canal in western Boca Raton, FL
Notes:
The dragonfly often perched near an Eastern Pondhawk dragonfly but did not interact with it.
