Hi, I don't think it's a weed, at least here in Croatia isn't... I agree with you, they are really beautiful...
Thanks Joy. These grow profusely in my back yard. My husband swears they are weeds and tries to kill them, but they come back with a vengeance each May. They are lovely when blooming, but quit weedy afterwards.
