Description:

I found this beautiful plant at Warner Park in Nashville, TN; the purple deadnettles were located on a hill and were a beautiful purple & green color and about 30 cm tall. Fun fact: The purple deadnettle's leaves are edible!

Habitat:

This purple deadnettle was found on a shaded hill along an abandoned road in the park. This species is common throughout America, Europe, Canada, northern African, and western Asia.
