Its natural habitat is the island of Madagascar and that shade of green is just amazing!!!
Keith, I've thought about this a bit and have moved it over to "other" and added more specific notes. I think we should try to reserve "pets" for household and domesticated critters. If we get a surge of zoo/museum specimens, we can consider creating a "zoo" category as well. Hope that makes sense! Thanks,
I used to keep Gold dust day gecko (Phelsuma laticauda) and Four Spot Day Gecko (Phelsuma quadriocellata quadriocellata); they were lots of fun to watch, especially if you put a live fly in their vivarium. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phelsuma_madagascariensis_grandis
The vividness of the green is mind boggling.
