Field Notes

Description:

Black with glossy plumage and snakelike neck. likes to keep wings spread out (to dry them??).

Habitat:

This is at Santragachi Jheel or Lake where in winter many migratory birds come and photographers too.

Notes:

I would love to know a bit more about the second bird on the pole...are there eggs that we see? I must get a camera with a more powerful zoom.
