Field Notes

Description:

First moths of Spring! Very small, gray moth with some tan and black markings. Rests in the leaf litter and on the ground. Coloration makes it almost invisible amongst the debris on the ground.

Habitat:

Temperate forest. Connetquot River State Park, NY.
