Field Notes

Description:

Dark blue bird, ~ 20cm length overall, with red breast and white patch (not imaged) at base of tail.

Habitat:

Suburban neighborhood on tropical upland plateau.

Notes:

Spotted in back yard. A skittish subject, and problems with both the camera and the cameraman, foiled attempts to acquire a better picture.
