Description:

Seen hanging in a dark corner of the wall one afternoon, thought it was a rat until I got closer. It was so creepy, made my flesh crawl.

Very nice series and spotting!
It's a juvenile bat (probably still suckling), and there's no way to identify it further than at the family level based on pictures alone.
I see an easy means to become Batman ;-)
Wow, cool spotting. Some species are biters when handling.
Thanks! That's a very interesting ID :-)
OK. I flipped it over to get a ventral view but just like felines, it wouldn't stay that way for long.
