Crescem facil e rapidamente por estacas que devem ser cortadas nas juntas. Quando as raízes crescem, se bem cuidadas, praticamente não há mais chances de perder a planta. Esse belo arbusto ornamental é um dos favoritos dos beija-flores e alguns besouros, tornando seu jardim em um ponto de encontro para os mesmos. Após atingirem um certo tamanho, a planta produzirá flores que lembram sinos ou lanternas chinesas. A Abutilon striatum pode atingir até 3 metros de altura. Deve ser regada excessivamente todos os dias após o plantio. 20 dias após o crescimento das raízes, podem ser regadas uma vez a cada dois dias sem problemas. They grow easily and fast from stakes which must be cut on the joints. Once the roots are grown, and care is taken, there is practically no more risk of losing the plant. This beautiful ornamental bush is a favorite of humming birds and a few beetles, turning your garden into a sweet spot for them. It likes very rich soil; personally, I mix worm humus, organic soil, bone dust, burnt rice shells and cattle dung together and plant the stake in the mixture.
