Description:

Tail feather of mama Blue Jay can be seen in the upper left of the photo. The nest is approximately 6 inches by 6 inches. The nest is cradled in the junction of branches of a Yaupon holly.The main component of the nest appears to be the twigs of the Yaupon holly.

Habitat:

Backyard moderately treed.
